Local content is of great importance in supporting the economic diversity of the country, as focusing on local content contributes to enhancing the productive and competitive capabilities of local establishments, which supports the growth of the national economy and provides job opportunities for citizens, developing skills, qualifying national competencies and building their capacities, transferring and localizing technology, enhancing economic and industrial security, and preserving national resources and wealth. It also contributes to developing technical and administrative skills among local suppliers, and stimulates the transfer of foreign technologies and expertise to the local market, and developing the technological capabilities of local companies.
