Government Procurement and Competition Program

This program provides a complete description and explanation of the government tenders and procurement system, its role in preventing the exploitation of influence and the influence of personal interests, protecting public funds, enhancing integrity and competition, achieving equality and providing fair treatment for competitors.

We at PS Academy offer a specialized program that qualifies the trainee to be a specialist in tenders, procurement and government contracts. This program also gives the trainee the full ability to deal with the mechanisms and requirements of local content, and to know how to build and write the specifications and conditions booklet, in addition to enabling trainees from the private sector to know how to build and write technical and financial offers in a professional manner. The program also gives the trainee the ability to deal with the drafting of contracts related to government procurement in a correct manner.

This program includes four specialized courses in the following areas:

A comprehensive explanation of the provisions and rules of the government tenders and procurement system and its executive regulations, and the role of government agencies (the Efficiency Authority and Government Projects, the role of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, the role of the Ministry of Finance, the role of regulatory authorities, and others).

How to prepare and write the specifications and conditions booklet and technical and financial offers.
How to deal with local content mechanisms and requirements.
Familiarity with how to write and draft contracts related to government procurement.

Each trainee receives two accredited certificates from:

– ⁠General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training
